ALBUM LAUNCH - FREE ONLINE EVENT

We were really excited to release our new album, but unfortunately, due to COVID restrictions, we couldn't play a live show to launch it. So, we decided to film a 30 minute performance in our hometown, the beautiful Blue Mountains, so you can stream it straight to your living room!

We are Darks Common Underground, a kinda folky-indie band from the Blue Mountains in Australia.
 
Our name comes from an area of bushland near where we grew up. It looks out over the Sydney basin, and has a railway tunnel running underneath it. 
 
The main songwriter for the group is Daniel Holdsworth (Tubular Bells for Two / The Maple Trail / The Saturns), and our other core members are Janine de Barse, Nathan Carr and Paul Griffiths. We also regularly play with special guests from across the Blue Mountains and Sydney region.
